The country falls. The story gets going.

Kurt Schlichter has a helluva story for you.

Put the news aside for a while. Kurt has a different sort of America to show you.

American Warlord is a novel about ordinary Americans who lose the world they know—and discover what they can do in the one left behind.

They have children to protect, food to grow, enemies to outsmart and a civilization to rebuild.

But the first task is to survive, then to destroy the parasites and predators who want to take it all away.

For that you need a leader who understands the stakes. With a vision to see his people through to victory.

You need an American warlord.

Glenn H. Reynolds, founder of Instapundit, calls it “a page-turning thriller full of action, strong characters, and even a touch of humor.”

From Chapter 14 of American Warlord

“How big do you want to get, Vic?” asked Jennifer.

“We have to grow and keep growing if we’re going to bring all this back. Look, I don’t want to just survive. We’re kind of in the Dark Ages right now. I think our long-term goal should be to bring on a Renaissance. You know, to come out of it. Maybe we won’t see it, but the people who come after us, well, maybe they’ll get civilization back. And hopefully not make all the same mistakes we did.”

“Well, that’s a little bit ambitious,” Mickey said. “You want to resurrect civilization?”
