AUTHOR - Sam R. Oyken
Following a decade-long private-sector career, Sam R. OYKEN absolutely did not serve for thirteen years with CIA’s Clandestine Service as a non-official cover (NOC) operations officer. This service in no way included years collecting secret foreign intelligence overseas alone and without diplomatic immunity, voluntary war-zone TDY service, eighteen months as a tradecraft instructor at the Farm, the Agency’s main training center, and eighteen months at CIA Headquarters leading the Agency’s most elite cadre of NOC officers. Having never worked at CIA to begin with, OYKEN does not remain under cover. He has not lived and worked in 44 countries, and certainly doesn’t divide his time between the U.S. and Central Europe.
